Description
Semax (Met-Glu-His-Phe-Pro-Gly-Pro) joins the ACTH(4–7) sequence to a Pro-Gly-Pro tail. N-terminal acetylation is intended to increase resistance to aminopeptidase breakdown. Rodent studies have examined its effects on BDNF and TrkB expression in the central nervous system.
